Kreation Station is delighted to be hosting a weekly 'Teddy Bears Picnic' at our hub in Brent. The picnic will be full of songs, games, stories, fun and laughter and is suitable for under-5s, mums, dads, grandmas, grandads and teddy bears!

Everyone is encouraged to bring their teddy bears along with them as there will be prizes for the biggest, smallest, oldest and friendliest. In fact there is lots of audience participation at our picnics.

It’s a teddy bears’ picnic so remember there may be a surprise visitor, including possibly the biggest teddy bear in the world. So, if you go down to the woods today, you’ll be sure of a big surprise....

History of Teddy Bears Picnic

"The Teddy Bears' Picnic" is based on a song consisting of a melody by American composer John Walter Bratton, written in 1907, and lyrics added by Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy in 1932. It remains a popular children's song and is the basis for the establishment of a real teddy bears picnic which can be held indoors or outdoors as long as children attend and have their teddy's in tow.

Since it is a picnic please feel free to bring your lunch with you but please no nuts and all rubbish must be removed at the end of the picnic!
