Bellisima Ballet School under the umbrella of Kreation Station aims to deliver this amazing ballet programme which will cater to the various levels. With 7 levels in Ballet to be considered i.e those that are 7 and over (Level 1), 8 and over (Level 2) then levels 3-7. All of which aim to teach the fundamentals of classical ballet and a focus on basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality as well as elementary barre and center work leading to work on body alignment and muscle awareness and positions of the arms, direction of the body and increased movement vocabulary.
By the time students reach level 3 they will need to pay particular attention to the proper extension of the legs and shape of the feet, developing movement sequences, port de bras and balance, advanced barre and center work and port de bras throughout. Single pirouettes with and grande allegro being introduced then depending on individual progression and development, students may be given the opportunity to take pre-pointe and pointe classes at level 5 and above all of which is delivered under a set of themes.
The theme will be chosen and used by the entire centre and aims to deliver on the individual’s objectives and learning outcomes which are chosen at the beginning of each term following the first individual assessment and then showcased at the centre in the seventh week.
Every six-weeks a new theme is chosen, and parents or individuals will be provided with the lesson plans and learning outcomes so that they are aware of what is being taught and what changes they should recognise in either their skill set of knowledge.
In addition, each individual taking our courses will be building a portfolio of accredited certificates which can be used later in their lives.
