The Physics Olympics allows children to use physics in so many ways when outside of a classroom!
This foundation level of physics is aimed at delivering information and activities around a curriculum on astrophysics, forces and motion, electricity, waves, energy resources and energy transfers, solids, liquids and gases, magnetism and electromagnetism and radioactivity and particles all delivered through a series of themes.
Each theme will be chosen and used by the entire centre and aims to deliver on the individual’s objectives and learning outcomes which are chosen at the beginning of each term following the first individual assessment and then showcased at the centre in the seventh week.
Every six-weeks a new theme is chosen, and parents or individuals will be provided with the lesson plans and learning outcomes so that they are aware of what is being taught and what changes they should recognise in either their skill set of knowledge.
In addition, each individual taking our courses will be building a portfolio of accredited certificates which can be used later in their lives.
