This basic mathematics programme has been created to provide a good knowledge base in addition and subtraction, ordering and writing numbers whilst identifying, representing and estimating numbers using different representations, including the number line using a variety of themes. Each unit will be decided upon based on the theme being delivered in each six-week cycle.
The theme will be chosen and used by the entire centre and aims to deliver on the individual’s objectives and learning outcomes which are chosen at the beginning of each term following the first individual assessment and then showcased at the centre in the seventh week.
Every six-weeks a new theme is chosen, and parents or individuals will be provided with the lesson plans and learning outcomes so that they are aware of what is being taught and what changes they should recognise in either their skill set of knowledge.
In addition, each individual taking our courses will be building a portfolio of accredited certificates which can be used later in their lives.
